My little, personal dash of the interweb, devoted to my crazy world and all aspects of my stupid life. Including coming soon the famed List of Enemies!

I'm still dreaming about the OTC. It's amazing how much hold it still has on my dream-world. I've been out (albeit very unhappily) for a couple of months, but still almost all of my dreams have OTC people / elements in it and about 1 in 3 is principally military in nature. The last one was fairly mundane: I mostly just remember running around with a rifle and getting the wrong rifle and having to go back and some weird discussion of death in films. I was impressed with myself, though AS I saw one of my friends and she wasn't looking that well in the dream, so I stopped to check if she was okay even though I was in trouble for being late. My dream from yesterday was at least about something else, even if I don't know what that was. It had weird games and had a lot of parts when I was inside computer games and one time when I was in the restaurant scene from the beginning of garden state. In keeping with the Garden state thing it also had Zach Braff and Sarah Chalke (J.D. and Elliot from scrubs) in it and, later on, Katie Holmes (joey from dawson's creek) though I don't really remember why or what they did. I do remember vividly a part when I caught a kid shoplifting and pretended to be a cop fir a little while, I was impressed with my law-abiding nature but the ease with which I resorted to physical force to restrain someone much younger and smaller than me is, perhaps, unsettling. I'm not going to go into a full-blown description of my dream-scape and its ins and out today, though, as in any case its not really ever linear enough to make that much sense and is usually massively routine and deeply mundane (I have in all seriousness paid the gas bill in my dreams as well as various other deeply unexciting household tasks). In (relatively) real world news, I'm back in Newcastle for the holidays. I had been looking forward to coming home much more than I have recently, but since I've been back I've been mostly bored. It underlined to me just how unexciting and repetitive my life was in Newcastle when I was here as a teenager. While it has been nice to see my various friends again, with a few exceptions we really just do exactly the same things we used to do, over and over again. I've also returned to my old, shockingly unhealthy, sleep pattern like an old friend, so I'm back to staying up until six in the morning then getting up about 2 in the afternoon.I've realised that I'm mainly just rambling incoherently in the way that I do after having been recently woken up, so I will finish presently. In closing it is probably worth noting that I've embarked on an all-out boycott of christmas this year, I've always hated and now I don't have to pretend to be festive, I'm not going to be.I don't how long it will be before I update again, so you all have a reasonably cheerful holiday season and anglo-saxon new year.
